Helen She
Helen She is a contemporary painter based in Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo, Italy, working in her own "pixel style" — never more than 3-4 colors per canvas.
Known for the Butterfly Matrix series (around 40 unique works exploring the duality between the living world and "the matrix", in oil, acrylic and mixed media including hand-cast resin), a City series (New York, Paris, Miami, Dubai, Rome) and a minimalist series inspired by wine and champagne.
Exhibited internationally, including in Italy, Russia and Japan; in 2015, a photographic work co-conceived by Helen She and Boris Shestakov, in which she also appears, was shown at the State Hermitage Museum — her first exhibition.
Founder of Gallery Helen She, established in 2023.
