Butterfly Cosmic

Inspiration for this artwork came from a breathtaking astronomical image — a star cluster known as the Butterfly Cluster (Messier 6), captured recently by a space observatory. Seen from Earth, this open cluster forms the delicate shape of a butterfly spread across the night sky.

In my painting, I interpret this celestial vision through texture, color, and motion. Deep shades of blue symbolize the young, luminous stars of the cluster, while warm golden tones echo the radiant light of an orange giant star shining among them. The butterfly becomes a metaphor for transformation and cosmic harmony — a reminder that even in the vastness of the universe, beauty follows the patterns of life.
